Quick Summary
The Brio 300 is Logitech’s best budget webcam. It has great image quality for the price, a built-in privacy shutter, and USB-C connectivity. There is also the Brio 301 that is functionally the same device, but it’s exclusively sold on Amazon’s website.

Image Quality
While the Brio 300 doesn’t have the sharpest image, the color accuracy is excellent. With good lighting, the dynamic range is excellent, and the 70 degree field of view is satisfactory for video conferencing.
The main weaknesses of the Brio 300 are the fixed focus lens and the narrow FOV if you want a wider shot. Other than that, for the price, I have no complaints.
Microphone Audio Quality
Just like any webcam mic, this one’s not great. Fortunately, no matter how you adjust the privacy shutter, it will never cover the mic.
Build Quality
There are few great things about the Brio 300’s build. It has a light on the side that is white when it’s active and turns amber when it’s only recording audio. The rotating privacy shutter takes some getting used to, but it’s very convenient. USB-C also adds some future proofing to this device, but I wish it was longer than 60 inches and also detachable.
The body is all plastic, and the monitor mount is sturdy enough. While there’s no tripod threading, most people won’t need it anyway.
Verdict
The Brio 300 is one of the best webcams I’ve ever purchased for under $50. I put it on par with the original Razer Kiyo. That webcam has a built-in ring light and better sharpness, but the Brio 300 has far superior colors and better dynamic range.
Overall, I highly recommend the Brio 300.
