The PowerConf C200 is one of the best budget webcams on the market. Here’s a quick breakdown of what it does well:

Pros

  • 2K Image quality.

  • Built-in privacy shutter

  • 95 degree FOV

  • Tripod threading

  • Autofocus

Cons

  • Grainy, even with good lighting.

  • Image warps slightly with lots of movement.

Tripod not included.

Image Quality Breakdown

Overall, the C200 has far more detail than most budget 1080p webcams. With decent lighting, the image is more than enough for video conferencing and Twitch streams. It doesn’t have premium level bokeh or clarity, but it’s extremely good for its price. 2K is a bit of a misleading resolution as that’s literally just 80 pixels above 1080p…

The only real issue is the amount of noise in the image and how the pixels seem to somehow overlap with each other when there’s lots of movement. Otherwise, excellent webcam.

Summary

Overall, I recommend the Powerconf C200 if you’re on a tight budget, but want something a bit better than the Logitech C920 or Logitech Brio 100/101.

BadIntent

I’m a longtime tournament competitor. I’ve won multiple regional championships for games such as Pokémon and Samurai Shodown. I buy and review all the products displayed on this site. No brand deals. No shilling.
